About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing psychotherapy to residents of California and Oregon. I offer telehealth therapy services via video or phone.

I work with people of all ages as individuals, couples, and families to address concerns related to mental health, personal and professional development, and life satisfaction. I have specialized training in treating infants, children, and adolescents and their parents, which informs my work with people at every stage of life.

My expertise is in contemporary psychoanalytic psychotherapy, also known as psychodynamic or “talk therapy.” By exploring your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors with great care and in detail over time, we can deepen your understanding of yourself and your experiences to get to the root of the problems you are hoping to solve. Our therapeutic relationship can also provide a space to develop new skills in relating to yourself and the world. This approach can generate long-lasting change that continues beyond the duration of our work together.

In addition to my private practice, I am a therapist and clinical supervisor at Silver Lake Psychotherapy in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles, and I coordinate the low fee psychoanalysis clinic and referral service at the New Center for Psychoanalysis. I have provided therapy in community mental health clinics and public schools in Watts, Los Angeles and Culver City and have experience with child welfare systems, adoptions and guardianship court, and hospice care. Before becoming a psychotherapist I taught elementary school and worked in human resources recruitment for educational organizations. I have significant life experience across both states where I practice, California and Oregon.
